After a long break, I mean, a really really looong break, thanks to divorce, covid and other fun distractions, I got back on the trail to revisit with some of my favoured – and still alive – musicians. And yes, it’s a very personal selection, either because I love their music, we are friends, and/or I just have fabulous shots of them, from when we were all so much younger.
This is Dan Reed. We met 30 years ago, after I had photographed him, opening for The Rolling Stones with his band Dan Reed Network, in the newly re-united Berlin/Germany, 1990. I went to the Cat Club in NYC, where I was living at that time, because my friend Karla thought he was cute. 😉
We reconnected on Facebook a few years ago – yay FB!- and stayed in touch.
Dan is now, besides still a musician and producer, a fantastic painter and writer and is producing and filming his first big feature film in the fall. He lives in Prague with his partner and son.
