Photography has shaped my life, taking me around the world to capture everyone from rock stars and athletes to families and public figures, while also mentoring young photographers and curating exhibitions. After relocating across the Atlantic during the pandemic, I immersed myself in holistic wellness training and founded Bloom—inspired by a transformative experience with juicing and the loss of my brother—to help people create meaningful change in their health, well-being, and lives.

My Story
Photography has shaped my life, taking me around the world to capture everyone from rock stars and athletes to families and public figures, while also mentoring young photographers and curating exhibitions. After relocating across the Atlantic during the pandemic, I immersed myself in holistic wellness training and founded Bloom—inspired by a transformative experience with juicing and the loss of my brother—to help people create meaningful change in their health, well-being, and lives.
Those who know me, know that I have been a photographer for most of my adult-ish life. I photographed rockstars, artists, athletes, business people, moms and kids, weddings, and the occasional politician. I also taught kids and curated exhibitions of their work. I have been published and exhibited all over the world and am currently working on two Rock’n Roll books.
If you have ever met me personally, you also know that I have to stop myself talking about Juicing and Juice Cleansing and how fabulous it is for your all around well-being, as to not come across as a preacher.
Should you have been around me lately, you also know that I used the pandemic not only to make a crazy move across the Atlantic with my teenager, dog and cat, but also spent the past 3+ years studying, training and getting certified as a Juice Therapy Practitioner, Certified Life & Systemic Coach as well as graduated as an NLP Master, Human Design Reader as well as just recently becoming a Healing Practitioner for Psychotherapy.
10 years ago I was introduced to Juicing and Raw Food in the middle of the Jungle in Costa Rica. That experience was life changing and fundamental in my 10 year journey following that first trip. Had I known back then what I know now, I could have saved my brother’s life. He passed away in 2008. With my program Bloom I am hoping to reach as many people as possibly to give everybody the chance to make all the changes in their life they desire.

I AM READY!
It’s been a long road, up and down and ’round and ’round. That’s a song, yes, I think, feel and talk in songs. Upside Down, Diana Ross. I sing it out loud – good for the vagus nerve, they say, singing is. Anyway, I am so ready to share all that I have learned about nutrition, juicing, menopause, human design, life in general, moving continents, with dog, cat, teenager. I have reflected on my decisions, triggers, thoughts and am so curious to learn more and I am ready to live my full life, now. I used to say I am slow. Fuck that! I like to take my time. How does that sound? Much better, eh? Also. Yes, I am a turtle, slow on land, fast in water! 😉
Are YOU Ready?

ANOTHER YEAR IN ZOOM-LAND
What a luxury to be able to invest in myself. Yes, it was another longest winter ever. And also. I was lucky to be able to join the American Women Club of Berlin half way through. I don’t know if I would have made it without the company and moral support of a bunch ladies from all over the world. It truly helped me get settled into our new normal. It also allowed me to have my first local exhibit. Thanks for making me feel like a Rockstar, Billy!
How do YOU get through the winter?

MY FIRST YEAR ON ZOOM
Also, our beautiful cat Bluepaw, King of the Mountain, passed away shortly after his best friend died.
How do YOU deal with grief?
BACK TO SCHOOL
After I arrived in Berlin, Germany, I decided to go back to school. I started out with finishing my education as a Natural Juice Therapy Practitioner at Jason Vales’s Juice Master Academy. That was hard!!! And then I got the certificate and thought: What do I do now? Yes, I continued introducing friends and acquaintances to Juicing, but that wasn’t all I wanted to do. Juicing alone doesn’t make the changes we want. So I signed myself up for classes: Certified Coach, Systemic Coach, NLP Practitioner followed by NLP Master, amongst other classes.
WHAT A FANTASTIC YEAR
Everything had fallen into place. Business was good, the kids were thriving, great health. What a fantastic year, full of new friends and adventures.
NEW BEGINNINGS
2016 was the end to a traumatic, way to long held on to, unhealthy and painful marriage. The big D. had finally arrived. June 16th, my new Holiday! And if you haven’t experienced it, let me tell you, people are there for you if your husband dies, you have cancer etc, however, when your partner drops off the face of the earth, and leaves you with nothing but debts and traumatized children, most people stay clear. Nobody wants to catch that bug! I had to choose between bingewatching netflix, booze the wine in a carton or remind myself what a juicy, healthy life I could have with new friends, new adventures and still be there for my kids. And that’s what I did.
What gets YOU out from under the rubble?

MY FIRST EVER RETREAT AND FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH JUICING
It’s a rather long story how I ended up at HDS, another coincidence -not! – and the beginning of my healthy and healing journey. Was I healed after one 7 Day retreat? Nope! Did I go back the next year? Yup! Would I like to go back again? Hell yeah! If you can make it happen. Do it. Tell them I send my LOVE!
Here is where I fell in love with raw food and juicing. After my first 5 days of the juice cleanse, it felt like I had come out of a coma! It’s a forever anchor!
Do You have any experience with Juicing or Raw Food?
MY BROTHER CHRISTOPH
Had I known back then what I know now, about food and health, maybe my brother would still be alive today. Had I had that knowledge in 1999 and 2006, maybe my pregnancies had been more pleasant. I suffered from ICP, a little known condition. Look it up.
Noa was born in Manitou Springs, Colorado. We all lived in this tiny little town for 17 years. A small town in the Rockies, at the bottom of Pikes Peak, also known as Tava, full of arts and unconventional people, right smack in the middle of a rather conservative state. I needed a bit of getting used to, the altitude (and attitude) of those mountains (and people), but we had quite a bit of fun and creative adventures, especially in those last 5 years.

My Marley.
Marley was born in Berlin. Our home for his first 4 years. Today he lives in Denmark, holds a bachelor of science in psychology and a master of intercultural studies. I am so very proud of this young man, who is thriving, kind and a rock for his sister and I.
We still love the Alex Tower in Berlin.

Berkeley, the Berkeley Hills to be excact. Married to a Grammy winning Blue Bass Player, I was living the true rock’n toll life, with everything that comes with it. Those were my most productive years as a music photographer. Some of my favorite photographs were taken during those times. Check my portfolio. → janakaiserphotography.com

NYC in the 80s. There has never been anything like it. Any and everything was possible. Downtown New York was the most inclusive worls I had ever been in. We were all different and nobody cared, not where you came from, what you identified as, it was heaven.
In my heart, I will always be a New Yorker.

I love Paris. Now more than back in the days when I loved there. Morning walks in the 6th arrondissement are my favorite thing to do. Museums, galleries, Cafés. Bliss!
